Our grading chart for vintage item.

Our grading chart has 5 levels from 10 (the best) to 6 (less). We don't sell items under these grade, unless for somes rare collectable.

MINT (10)

Absolutely perfect. We have never used this grade for used items.

The books cover is flat and without surface wear. No autographs or writing is allowed on either the cover or interior pages. Cover inks are bright with high gloss. The book's corners are in very good square and sharp. No major creases are visible.

A very fine book appears to have been read a few times and has been handled with some care. Some of the above defects along with a small fold or crease in the cover. No mailing label or other sticker on cover. May have one noticeable minor flaw, such as a slightly curled up corner on one of the covers or a tiny crease on an inside page.

These books or magazines are definitely a well-read copy, but can still be a very desirable copy. It has stress lines around the staples and creases from the opening and closing of the cover. Some discoloration, fading in colors and even minor soiling is allowed. The cover and/or inside pages could have minor tears and/or folds and some have a label post office or other stickers.

GOOD (6)

In this grade, the cover can be loose from one staple, but cover cannot be completely detached from the interior. Book  or magazine are complete, but with major creases and or a spine roll. The inside paper quality is not good and yellow but no pieces of them may be missing. Flaws such as ownership signatures, bookplates and remainder marks must be noted in the description, along with rubbing, chips and tears, and price-clipping in dust wrappers, where applicable.

An item with this grade is slightly damaged. This can be tears, water damage or humidity or other alteration. All defects are described and can even be, in some cases, accompanied by a photo.
